THE RUN FOR A MILLION, presented by Teton Ridge, is not your standard horse show. This unique event offers exciting Reining and Reined Cow Horse competition at the highest levels. All aspects of this event are either by invitation, or qualification, except for the $150,000 OPEN SHOOT OUT. We welcome riders from all across the globe to enter and get the chance to participate in the MILLION DOLLAR COMPETITION in 2023!

bloomer ROOKIE CHAMPIONSHIP - wednesday, august 17 | 8:00am 

EXHIBITOR ENTRY DEADLINE | JULY 15, 2022 (ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED)
ENTRIES NOT RECEIVED BY AUGUST 1 WILL INCUR A $350 LATE FEE
Eligibility is based on NRHA Category 5 Ancillary Rookie 2 rules. Entries must qualify at an approved Host Event in order to participate. NRHA Category 11 Approved.

$50,000 ADDED NonPRO CHAMPIONSHIP - thursday, august 18 | 8:00am

ENTRIES NOT RECEIVED BY AUGUST 1 WILL INCUR A $350 LATE FEE
Eligibility is based on NRHA Category 1 Ancillary Non Pro rules. Entries must qualify at an approved Host Event in order to participate. NRHA Category 11 Approved.

 $150,000 added OPEN SHOOT OUT - friday, august 19 | 8:00am

EXHIBITOR ENTRY DEADLINE | JULY 15, 2022 (ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED)
ENTRIES NOT RECEIVED BY AUGUST 1 WILL INCUR A $350 LATE FEE
This special event is open to all riders, including Non Professionals, and horses of any age and breed. There will be one round to be held on Friday, August 19. ​Riders may enter up to three horses. See entry from and schedule for complete information. NRHA Category 1 Approved. The top SIX placings, will be guaranteed a spot in the 2023 MILLION DOLLAR COMPETITION. (Ties for sixth place must run off or management may choose another option to break the tie.)

Ten cowboys from United States Heritage Ranches listed below, one cowboy per ranch, will compete for $25,000 in prize money. Using the National Reined Cow Horse Association's (NRCHA) Cowboy class format, the competitors will compete a traditional reining and cow work run, and then come back for a second turn in the arena for steer stopping.

Before riding for the $25,000 in prize money at The Run For A Million in Las Vegas, cowboys from some of the country’s most historic ranches will be invited to a Cowboy Clinic to freshen up their skills. The following historic ranches are among those that have been invited to send cowboys for the inaugural event. ENTRIES NOT RECEIVED BY AUGUST 1 WILL INCUR A $350 LATE FEE
Sixteen riders must qualify to compete for $170,000 in prize money at one of two events, The National Reined Cow Horse Association's (NRCHA) Stallion Stakes in Las Vegas, NV or National Reined Cow Horse Association Derby, Scottsdale, AZ.  Using NRCHA's Open Bridle class format, the competitors will compete a traditional reining and cow work run.
